The Buddha Bowl Class

IMG_5789.jpg

Equipment You’ll Need

mixing bowl

measuring spoons

measuring cups

small soup pot

cutting board

chefs knife

sheet pan

Grocery List

natural peanut butter

2 limes (or lime juice)

soy sauce

sriracha (optional)

brown rice

shredded carrot*

2 lbs. broccoli*

purple cabbage*

roasted unsalted peanuts

Ingredient Notes:

  • A buddha bowl makes an great lunch, so I would highly suggest using this as an opportunity to meal prep for the week - make a double or even triple batch, and you’ve got lunch covered all week long!

  • It’s easiest to buy a bag of shredded carrots, but you can always slice or shred your own whole carrots if you prefer

  • Want to make it easier on yourself? Just buy a bag or two of broccoli florets, instead of cutting up your own broccoli

    • I would recommend at least 1 lb. of broccoli, but if you want leftovers, use 2 lb. or more

  • Green cabbage will work just fine, but purple cabbage is more visually appealing. You can also buy a bag of pre-shredded cabbage or slaw mix
